Dr. Philip Memoli, DDS, DMD, FAGD, CNC of Berkeley Heights, NJ is our February spesker. He practices preventative and systemic as well as general dentistry, and he lectures to dental professionals as well as patients. He has PG training in implants, prosthethics, periodonitcs, cosmetic and functional (TMJ and brixism) dentistry.
Dr. Philip Memoli is not only an admired friend, an excellent dentist and a caring person--- he is an accomplished holistic medical doctor who relates your medical condition not only to your mouth but to your whole body, as it should be done. Effects of mouth inflammation and infection are carried through the whole digestive system and consequently affect all organs and appendages. Dr. Memoli will be discussing many aspects of dentistry not normally known, much less practiced!
Over 90% of all disease originates in the mouth (and nasal passages). This is not surprising as the mouth and nose are the portals for almost all toxins, bugs, pesticides, acids, sugars. foreign chemicals or vapors that affect the body. The only other significant source of inflammation and disease is transdermal transmission (like poison ivy, Lyme disease, psoriasis and fungals.
Dr. Memoli uses no mercury or other toxic chemicals. He is adamant about using only bio-compatible materials, through psycho-kinetic testing. Many of our members have gone to him with great success.
