The Tzofim Friendship Caravan is a dynamic cultural exchange program consisting of a traveling troupe of Israeli teenagers from the Israel Boy and Girl Scouts Federation. Founded in 1973, the program aims to strengthen connections between Israel and diaspora Jewish communities in North America.
Key details of the caravan include:

• The Troupe: Each caravan consists of ten 16-to-17-year-old scouts (five boys and five girls) and two adult leaders. Members are highly vetted, requiring strong leadership skills, musical talent, and English fluency.
• The Performances: The scouts travel across North America during the summer, performing high-energy, 45-minute concerts featuring Israeli folk music and synchronized dances. They perform at summer camps, community centers, and synagogues.
• Community Impact: Beyond performing, the scouts serve as cultural emissaries and foster personal connections by staying with local host families during their tour.
