We have a bit of a road trip on Saturday morning, as we run the Scenic Drive above the Carquinez Strait, in Martinez.
Meet up in Rankin Park on 100 Buckley Drive, Martinez. Go west on Highway 4, exit at Alhambra Ave. following it into town. At the end you will turn left at Buckley, and climb up to the baseball field. Circle around to park behind right field by 730am. We'll be going out and back on some of the historic Brickyard Run. The Carquinez Scenic Drive is a semi-closed 2 lane road that meanders above nice views of the Carquinez Strait. The round trip is about 4.5 miles. Public water and restrooms may be available.
