The Safe Room: A Virtual Support Group

The Safe Room: A Support and Resource Group is a virtual support space designed specifically for people of color and other marginalized communities who may be experiencing emotional distress related to the current political climate. This group offers a non-judgmental space to process emotions, connect with others, and access resources, including information on legal aid, healthcare providers, and other community support.

The group will meet virtually once per week, and because accessibility is a priority, participation is offered at a low cost of $20 per session or billable to insurance. Enrollment is open to individuals 18+, and residents across the state of Illinois are welcome to join.
