Tower of the Mad Mage: Learn D&D 5e at the Black Potion!

It is very important that I get an accurate head count before the game, so if I don't hear back from you about your plans for a character or you don't join the discord server I will consider you as "Not Going" and free up your spot for someone on the wait list.

Hello adventurers! I am thrilled to invite you all to an in-person Dungeons and Dragons game at the Black Potion, where all experience levels are welcome, especially beginners. Our adventure, the "Tower of the Mad Mage", is a short journey of about 1-2 sessions, perfect for giving you a taste of the game without a long-term commitment. This also serves as an opportunity for us to get to know each other as players and GM before diving into any longer campaigns.

The adventure begins with this scene: The door bursts open with such force that the wall trembles, and the hinges groan. A goblin, heavily wounded with dried blood covering about half of his body, staggers in, much to everyone’s shock. The once noisy Gambling Golem falls into a hush.

The goblin stumbles toward your table then crumbles right in front of you. “Help me,” he croaks, his bloodshot eyes pleading. “I’ll make you rich!”

When you confirm your attendance, please get in touch with me either through meetup to let me know your character preference. I encourage you to bring your own characters, but if you're new to D&D or prefer not to, I will assign you a pre-generated character sheet and guide you through the creation process.

I will bring the dice you'll need for the game. We will be playing in theater of the mind (no maps, just imagination). Also, I have created a Discord server for us to share game-related content and to keep the conversation going. Even though our game is in-person, Discord allows us to share visual elements easily. I highly encourage you to join this server.

Once you've joined the server, feel free to introduce your character and share any visual aids or backstory you have. This way, we can all get to know your character before the game starts.
