What we’re about
The San Diego Archery House Meetup Group is open to anyone interested in the sport of archery! This class goes over the basics to Traditional/Olympic recurve archery. Classes are taught by Tara, a Nationally Certified Archery Coach, 3X National Champion and former athlete of the US Olympic Training Center. Tara started shooting in 1991, began teaching in 2004 and launched this meet-up group in 2009.
This meetup is great for people new to the sport and even those with some archery experience. We host beginner and Intermediate classes. We have classes geared to both youth and adults. Throughout the year, we offer one-day options and on-going weekly classes. We cover range safety, proper equipment selection, and basics to shooting. All equipment is provided, but students are welcome to bring their own!
This group is a great way to meet other locals with the same interests. We shoot outdoors and know how to have a good time while learning a new skill!

1-Day, 3-day and 5-Day Summer Camp options!*June 23 - June 25 - 3-Day Archery Camp from 1:30 - 4:30pm ($120)
*July 7 - July 11th - 5-Day Archery Camps (Morning Session from 9:15 - 11:30am OR Afternoon Session from 11:45am - 2:00pm) ($150)
*July 21 - July 25 - 5-Day Archery Camps (Morning Session from 9:15 - 11:30am OR Afternoon Session from 11:45am - 2:00pm) ($150)
July 15th - 1-Day Summer Archery Camp from 1:15 - 3:15pm ($30)Ages 9 - 16 years. All equipment is provided but students are welcome to bring their own. We will go over all basics to range safety and equipment handling. Each day, we will learn new skills and play a variety of archery games.
