Bird Grasslands at Mission Trails!

This 2.5-mile loop trail includes tons of habitat: a small pond at the Old Mission Dam, low woods along the San Diego River, and broad grasslands for all sorts of birds. Let's meet early and beat the heat!

Accessibility notes: This walk is slightly longer than this group's usual, but the trails are well-maintained and mostly flat, with only a few rocky patches. Restrooms and water are available near the trailhead. There is no tree cover in the grasslands, so please bring plenty of water and use sun protection.
