What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested in fighting climate change. We started this group to more effectively grow the climate movement in San Diego along with the National Climate Mobilization theclimatemobilization.org effort to bring a World War II scale climate mobilization to move America off of fossil fuels and on to renewable wind, water, solar and geothermal energy. We also aim to drastically reduce animal agriculture and progress to more sustainable agricultural procedures because these are a huge, huge contributor of greenhouse gases that has other disastrous environmental consequences as well. We are independent of the influence of big money donors so this Meetup group will be a place where ideas are discussed freely and openly without any fear of repercussion because some large donor with or without a conflict of interest doesn't want all or part of the message to get out.
