Sapphic Book Club Meeting

Hey ladies! 🖤🎃

Our first monthly sapphic pick will be Blood on her Tongue By: Johanna Van Veen

🩸 BLOOD ON HER TONGUE by Johanna van Veen
Sapphic Gothic Horror | Historical | Dark & Creepy

Set in the Netherlands in 1887, this follows Lucy, whose twin sister Sarah begins acting very strangely after becoming obsessed with a centuries-old corpse. As everyone around Sarah becomes convinced she’s losing her mind, Lucy starts to wonder if something much darker—and possibly supernatural—is happening.

Think: Victorian gothic atmosphere, obsession, blood, corpses, repression, queer themes, and women being called crazy when MAYBE SOMETHING IS ACTUALLY WRONG. 😂
