Led by Zavio Javier — a professional dancer and teacher with over 22 years’ experience in more than 30 styles — Tango Lab strips tango down to its essence: connection, presence, and play.

About Your Instructor:
Zavio’s dance journey began with breakdancing and grew into an exploration of over 30 styles. But it was Argentine Tango that became his artistic and personal calling. His teaching is unconventional — no endless memorizing of steps — instead, you’ll explore tango as a conversation: physical, emotional, and instinctual. Along with his creative collaborator Nicolette Fornasari, Zavio hosts classes, milongas, and Tango Labs designed to help people connect, heal, and have fun through movement. ⸻
