Welcome to The Satisfied Eater Cookbook Club for Extraordinary Women!
Come join us for a fun and delicious gathering where we'll taste test a cookbook's recipes. This in-person event will take place in Sewall's Point. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a newbie in the kitchen, everyone is welcome!
How does a cookbook club work?
Everyone picks up a copy of the same cookbook. Read it, and find a recipe you'd like to try. Bring the dish to our meeting to let everyone taste it and get a chance to taste everyone's dish as well.
We'll swap recipe notes, tricks, and of course, enjoy some tasty food together. Don't forget to bring a copy of your book to the event!
What if I don't really know how to cook?
Then this club is perfect for you! Trying out a simple recipe and getting feedback while also being able to taste other recipes from the same book allows you to get a better grasp on cooking with a book of recipes you'll already have.
How many dishes do I have to bring?
You only have to bring one, but if you're feeling adventurous and you couldn't decide, go ahead and bring 2.
What's the cookbook for February?
To kick off summer, we're going to dive into some Filipino cooking. Think stews and sweets, plenty of rice, and of course, lumpia. We will learn how to roll lumpia and explore the flavors of classic Filipino dishes. The cookbook is one by our group founder, Christine. You can order it here:

You can also contact Christine directly to purchase the cookbook.
Where do I go to pick a recipe (or 2)?
Let us know which dish you're going to bring by commenting on this event post. Please do not pick Lumpia as your recipe, as we will be making these together at the event.
Hope to see you around the table!
