What we’re about
The Scenic Detourists is a lighthearted hiking group for people who love great views, better company, and the occasional “accidental shortcut.” Our goal is to explore the Bay Area’s most scenic trails while keeping things fun, social, and a little spontaneous. We welcome hikers of all levels—whether you’re out for the exercise, the photos, or just the snacks. Our events are all about relaxed pacing, laughter, and taking the time to enjoy the journey (even if we take a few scenic detours along the way).
