What we’re about

Hello Fun Seeker, Come and join the MOST FRIENDLY group for those over 55, offering a wide variety of enjoyable activities for you to have FUN and make new friends. In addition to dining, concerts, dancing, music, art, hikes, and we might also have an out-of-town trip!
We are a FAMILY OF FRIENDS! Our group started 2011.
Our events are both outdoors and indoors. In addition, members are able to email each other. Most events are in Scottsdale, but members live all over the valley. This is not a 'dating site' we are all about making friendships! Open to both singles and couples. Please post a photo of yourself, so we can recognize you, and introduce you to our members. Culinary Dropout Scottsdale Quarter , Scottsdale, AZ
Let’s enjoy FREE concert, and a delicious dinner in Scottsdale Quarter! We will be sitting together with a reserved table, in my name. It is my BIRTHDAY Celebration, and I am bringing in a BIRTHDAY CAKE for everyone! Please let me know if you are also a May Baby!
Music starts at 5 PM, and then we will get dinner at the Culinary Dropout at 6:15.
Come for both concert and dinner, or just the dinner. If you don't want dinner they have appetizers. See: MENU
The FREE concert is the Sandra Bassett Trio. Engaging, Entertaining, Jazz and R&B singer with powerful and smooth vocals. Will find some seating available on the grass or on benches. You can bring a blanket to sit on. I will be wearing my big RED hat so you can find our group.
If weather is too hot that day, we will just have dinner at 6:15.
+Parking: The Scottsdale Quarter has two parking garages near the Quad - Garage is FREE.

Shake Shack at Kierland Commons, Scottsdale, AZ
Kick off the summer season with an unforgettable four-week concert series under the stars. Enjoy live music every Friday evening starting May 2 through May 16, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the beautiful Center Plaza. In front of Shake Shack. (Look for the talk palm trees). *Bring a folding chair or sit on a blanket.
*Get there early to find parking for this popular series. GREAT bands!
2025 Concert Lineup:
May 2 – Turning Point: A fusion of Jazz, rock, R&B, and blues, with touches of Greek and Southwest tunes!
May 9 – Dirty Yachtin’ Scoundrels: A Scottsdale favorite, bringing the best of '70s and early '80s soft rock.
May 16 – Candle in the Wind (Elton John Tribute)
Bring your friends and family and enjoy a perfect start to summer at Kierland Commons. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for the most comfortable experience.
Leashed pets are welcome at this pet-friendly event.

Ready to hear another great night of jazz featuring the amazing Nicole Pesce?
Please join us! The Todd Johnson Quartet is performing at Jazz for the Soul at Jazzbird. Bassist Todd Johnson is joined this night by the Valley’s own Nicole Pesce on piano, Andrew Gross on tenor sax, and Robby Carrillo on drums.
All world-class musicians together featuring soulful standards with favorite songs you’ll know.
*Details: Doors open at 4:45. I suggest you arrive early or at 5 PM to get a seat. These artist are well known, and it will be a full house! The show is from 6-8.
* No reserved seats. Bring a sweater or jacket to throw over your chair to save your seat. Come early and hang out with your friends before the show. I recommend you grab your seat first, and then get your drinks.

*Tonight is the charity event, so there is no fee at the door. Give something after you are seated. Drinks and limited snack available at bar.
