The Screening Room

Welcome to The Screening Room.

A film club for cinephiles, emerging filmmakers, and anyone who simply loves a great movie.

Our taste has no boundaries. We’ll watch everything from The Kid to Bullitt, from cult favorites and overlooked gems to new releases like The Devil Wears Prada 2. Classics, blockbusters, indies, foreign films, thrillers, comedies, strange little movies you’ve never heard of—if it’s worth watching and talking about, it belongs in The Screening Room.

But this is more than movie night.

The Screening Room is a place to watch films with people who genuinely care about cinema, talk about what worked (and what didn’t), discover films outside your usual rotation, and connect with people who want to create.

We also want to put independent filmmakers on the screen. Indie filmmakers are invited to submit their own short films, features, documentaries, and other projects for consideration to be screened at future Screening Room events. It’s an opportunity to share your work with a real audience, get people talking about your film, and connect with fellow filmmakers and film lovers.

Directors, writers, actors, cinematographers, editors, producers, emerging filmmakers, and lifelong cinephiles are all welcome.
