Pacific Fabrics on 4th Avenue South in Seattle (just south of Safeco Field) has an after-hours sewing and potluck event on a couple of Saturday nights every month. This is one of them.

It's an opportunity to sew and chat and nosh with other people who like to sew, chat and nosh. Many of the people who show up are experienced sewers who are willing to share information and help, but they also have projects they're working on. Some of us are still beginners so we bring simple things to work on.

Be sure you get there with your sewing machine and project before they close the store at 6:00 p.m. You can stay until 10 p.m. if you like, but if you need to leave, they will let you out before then.
