Forget about Facebook and all the changes they just rolled out. What are you doing with Twitter? Just because most of us know the backend of web technologies doesn't make us experts in leveraging social media, especially Twitter, to have the impact we want. If you run a small business or are a one-man show, don't waste your time researching and reading up on all the social media tools to figure out what you need to market your brand online. We've made it easy for you with this meetup. From Klout to Listorious to su.pr to paper.li, get up to speed on the current tools to automate your work, measure effectiveness of your social media activities, and leverage what you know to promote your business.

About the Location

I am very excited to let you know that the folks at Microsoft Store in Bellevue will allow us to use their facility for this event. There's a huge screen in the back where we will be projecting our speaker via Lync (Keith make sure to wear a tie--or not).

Unfortunately, the venue was not available at the original time for this meetup on the 12th so I had to change the date to October 24. That should also give us more time to get people to RSVP. I encourage you to start inviting your friends.

Once we reach the 40 seating capacity, I'll send a link for people to join us remotely using Lync.

Our sponsor will be providing refreshments from Specialty's Cafe and Bakery so please join us tomorrow and enjoy a delectable dessert platter, healthy fresh fruit platter, and hot coffee while we mingle and meet new friends.
