Greyhawk: The Pit at Eldham OSRIC AD&D 1st One Shot
Details
Far in the Duchy of Tenh's northern highlands, at the mouth of Emerald Valley, stands Eldham-town, a market town that serves the villages of that remote valley. Known for warm wool, mutton, and quarried limestone, Eldham has recently been on the tongues of everyone in the north. Just outside of town, the bottom collapsed out of an old quarry revealing a staircase down into darkness. Those that have descended and returned claim that the staircase winds down for a league or more, connecting ancient tombs, strange caverns, and maybe even the ancient city of Xerichen. Those with means have picked up and made for Eldham for the survivors also emerged with treasures said to rival those of the Duchess herself.
Greyhawk: The Pit at Eldham is an OSRIC 3 / AD&D 1st edition megadungeon set in the Duchy of Tehn. This is a one-shot session to gauge interest for a continuing West Marches / drop-in/drop-out kind of campaign at Secret Lantern. Appropriate for those new to the old school style of RPGs (pre-gens and guidance provided!) and to the grognards looking for a regular game.
Ages 15+, please.
GM will provide some reference handouts to help new players, as well as a comparison/contrast one-sheet for OSRIC to 5th Edition D&D. Remarkably not that different!
