We'll be meeting at the Microsoft NERD for our May meetup. We have two great speakers for our meetup: Helium and The Mathworks.
Helium (https://www.helium.com): Mark Phillips will speak about Security at the intersection of IoT and Blockchain. Helium was founded in 2013 by Amir Haleem, Shawn Fanning, and Sean Carey, with a mission to make it easier to build connected devices.
The Mathworks (https://www.mathworks.com/products/thingspeak.html): Hans Scharler will speak about ThingSpeak and other things IoT at The Mathworks. ThingSpeak™ is an IoT analytics platform service that allows you to aggregate, visualize, and analyze live data streams in the cloud. With MATLAB® analytics inside ThingSpeak, you can write and execute MATLAB code to perform preprocessing, visualizations, and analyses.
