About us
The Shogi Masterclass and Social Society is a space for players of all levels to come together, study the intricacies of the game, and enjoy a few friendly matches. Whether you are just learning how the pieces move or have been studying opening theories for years, our goal is to create a supportive environment where we can sharpen our skills through shared analysis and conversation.
We meet regularly to walk through historical games, discuss tactical puzzles, and put what we learn into practice over the board. This group is as much about the social side of the game as it is about the strategy, so expect plenty of casual chat between rounds. If you have an interest in Shogi and are looking for a regular group to play with, we would be glad to have you join us.
