About us
The Sketching Circle is a space for artists of all levels to get together, share their work, and improve their skills in a supportive environment. Whether you are picking up a pencil for the first time or have been sketching for years, our goal is to create a community where we can learn from one another through honest feedback and shared practice. We believe that the best way to grow is by drawing alongside others and talking through the challenges we face on the page.
Each of our sessions balances casual social time with focused mentorship. We spend time working on our own projects, but we also carve out room for group critiques and practical guidance for anyone feeling stuck or wanting to try a new technique. There is no pressure to be perfect here, just a shared interest in the process of sketching and a desire to help each other get better over time. We look forward to having you join us at our next gathering.

Lower Chapel Learn to Draw Trees and Skies
XG83+4V Brecon, Lower Chapel, GB๐ One Hour, One Pencil, One Finished Drawing
Sit down at your own table with a pencil and some paper. The class starts at this event's start time, and everyone in the session draws along together.
Today's class: Landscapes, trees, hills, paths and skies, and how to give a view depth.
When the class ends, photograph your drawing and send it in. A reviewer looks at your page and writes back with what's working and what to try next.
You don't need talent, just a pencil and an hour.
