Gallery Excursion! Vancouver Sketchup 030

Join us for a gallery excursion, and meet other like-minded artists in the city!

This time we are going to see Just Imagine, an exhibit at the Shadbolt Centre. This show featuring multiple artists across a range of different media, is part of Burnaby Stridefest, and this is closing night.

We picked this show because one of our regulars Dawn Livera is one of the featured artists! Looking forward to seeing her work and seeing the Shadbolt Centre (it will be my first time visiting!)

After we've had a look around the exhibit, if the weather is nice we will walk around the gardens and find a place to sit, sketch and chat for a bit. Bring your own materials! If the weather isn't condusive for that we'll try to find a sheltered place to set ourselves up.

We will meet at 3pm exactly at the gallery entrance. If you are late, try and find the group and join us. I will be wearing a dusty pink backpack with a fake flower sticking out of it.

If you aren't able to make it please take yourself off the guest list so I'm not trying to keep track of you 😅

This is an inclusive welcoming group, anyone with an inclination to art is welcome to attend! Excited to hear more about your art practice and hear your story :)
