Curious Coffees: From Petticoats to Power (Introduction)

This October we’re launching a 4-week series called “From Petticoats to Power”, where we’ll explore the rebellious Victorian women who bent the rules — writers, thinkers, campaigners, pioneers — and helped pave the way for the freedoms we enjoy today.

This first coffee morning is our intro session:

We’re meeting at The Sycamore, a cosy West End café that already hosts book clubs and community events. Perfect salon vibes.

🚗 Parking: Free street parking nearby on West Parade, Hueson Road, and Rosebury Avenue (first-come, first-served).

🚌 By Bus: Short ride from Lincoln Transport Hub (city centre).

🚉 By Train: From Lincoln Central, it’s about 15–20 mins on foot or a quick taxi.
