April is National Card and Letter Writing Month. To celebrate, I thought we could get together and write cards and letters through an organization called Love For Our Elders. I have no connection to this group. I just thinks it's a really lovely idea.
Their website is: Love For Our Elders . Here you will find letter requests and descriptions of recipients, as well as more information about the organization.

In-Person Meetup deets below:

Where: This meetup is at Sulzer Regional Library, located at 4455 N Lincoln Ave in Chicago. We'll be meeting in the small meeting room.

When: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm (no obligation to stay the whole time)

What to Bring: Stationery (cards or letter paper) to write on, pens/pencils/markers, stickers, washi, paints, etc. to decorate cards and letters with, and feel free to bring items to share, if you would like.

If you would like to bring other letters to write or other projects to work on, you are welcome to do so. It's not mandatory to write letters to Love For Our Elders to attend.

Note: RSVPs close 24 hours in advance. If you RSVP yes and do not show, you will be removed from the Snail Mail group for no-showing. Please change your RSVP to no, if necessary, to avoid this.

Hope to see you there!
