In-Person Meetup / Pen Pal & Pen Month

Friends, this is our month - June 1st is National Pen Pal Day and June 10th is Pen Day. Let's combine the two and get together to write our pen pals!

In-Person Meetup deets below:

Where: This meetup is at Sulzer Regional Library, located at 4455 N Lincoln Ave in Chicago. We'll be meeting in the small meeting room.

When: Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 5:30pm-7:30pm (no obligation to stay the whole time)

What to Bring: Stationery (cards or letter paper) to write on, pens/pencils/markers, stickers, washi, etc. to decorate cards and letters with, and feel free to bring items to share, if you would like.

If you do not have a pen pal, feel free to bring other stationery-adjacent things to work on, like: decorating your planner, drawing, coloring, painting, paper crafting, etc. It's not mandatory to write letters to attend.

Note: RSVPs close 24 hours in advance. If you RSVP yes and do not show, you will be removed from the Snail Mail group for no-showing. Please change your RSVP to no, if necessary, to avoid this.
