The Push-Up Challenge | June 4–26

We’re taking on 3,214 push-ups in 23 days — each one representing a life lost to suicide in Australia in 2023.

This is more than a fitness challenge. It’s about showing up for mental health, raising awareness, and pushing through together. We’re doing this to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline — and we want YOU on our team.

Everyone is welcome to join — no matter your fitness level.
Whether you smash out push-ups, wall presses, or track your efforts in creative ways, it all counts.

You can join the team until June 6 — but the challenge kicks off June 4, so get in early and start strong.

### Here’s how you can get involved:

> Sign up (it’s free)
> Push-up with us at Base Attak or from home via webcam
> Crush your daily target in one go or break it up, every push-up counts
> Join one of the pop-in classes for push-up games and socializing

Choose between the full target (3,214 push-ups) or half target (1,607 push-ups) when you register, or substitute push-ups with alternatives, like sit-ups, squats - anything goes.

  • Each day you'll receive a different push-up target which corresponds to an important Mental Health Fact. Read and share to improve mental health awareness, start conversations and help smash the stigma around mental illness.
  • We will be using the Push For Better app to get the daily facts and targets, log your push-ups, keep track of your progress & stay in touch with your teammates.

Whether you're new to push-ups or a pro, we’ve got a daily plan with beginner-friendly variations and team support to help you hit the goal.
