I'm excited to announce that the Social C-Suite's second meetup is now set for Wednesday, October 22 at IBM's Southbank HQ (rescheduled from 25 September).

It's from 5-7 pm, which is a bit of an early start, but that's the only slot available I'm afraid. We'll decamp to a local pub afterwards for more networking.

A huge thank you to IBM's Jon Machtynger (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/jon-machtynger/0/415/12b) for letting me use the space.

The plan is to get a few speakers to discuss the latest thinking around social business - specifically as it impinges on the C-Suite, with plenty of time for discussions.

If you plan to attend, please provide your full name, company name and e-mail address - these are required by IBM. Please also bring some ID with you on the day. You can e-mail these details to me at dcorbet@halmapr.com.

We have four speakers confirmed:

• Thomas Mason (https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=11719335&authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=1GOd&locale=en_US&trk=tyah2&trkInfo=tarId%3A1412689315068%2Ctas%3Athomas%20mason%2Cidx%3A1-1-1), the Digital Director of World of CEOs (http://www.worldofceos.com/), will talk about how they aggregate valuable CEO data into the site from various social media sources. He'll also give a short overview of his work with BBC News CEO Guru (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-20071226) presenter Steve Tappin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/stevetappin).

• Matt Ballantine (https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=432889&authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=QNt-&locale=en_US&trk=tyah2&trkInfo=tarId%3A1409910727120%2Ctas%3Amatt%20ballantine%2Cidx%3A1-1-1) will talk about his quarterly 'Social CEO' Report (http://stamplondon.co.uk/welcome-to-stamp/socialceo/) and his work with IG Digital on Connecting Customers (http://mmitii.mattballantine.com/2014/08/27/connecting-customers/). Here's Martin talking about social media as a driver for cultural change: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34Og0b6so8c .

• Adam Gray (https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=12151531&authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=a07l&locale=en_US&trk=tyah2&trkInfo=tarId%3A1410347601571%2Ctas%3Aadam%20gray%2Cidx%3A1-1-1), Oracle's Client Social Engagement Lead EMEA, will share some of his expertise gained with Oracle and also as a highly respected social media speaker (http://www.grayuk.com/).

I have a really good feeling about this group - we could be in danger of developing into a Think Tank.

In the meantime, why not join the LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=7473704&trk=anet_ug_hm) group, Google+ (https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/109068773158821970584) community and follow the Twitter (https://twitter.com/TheSocialCsuite) account?
