About us
Welcome to The Social Dough Dumpling Making Crew. This group is for anyone who loves good food and the slow, rhythmic process of folding dumplings. We get together to share recipes, learn new techniques, and enjoy a meal we have prepared as a team. Whether you have been making dumplings your whole life or have never folded a pleat in your life, you are welcome here.
Our gatherings are pretty casual. We usually rotate between different kitchens or community spaces, bringing our own rolling pins and favorite fillings to share. The goal is to move away from the quick convenience of takeout and spend a few hours actually working with our hands and talking to each other. If you are looking to pick up a new skill while meeting some friendly people in the neighborhood, I hope you will join us for our next session.
