Have you ever bent over backwards just to feel wanted? Shrinking parts of who you are, saying yes when you wanted to say no, or working twice as hard just to prove you belong.

For many women, this cycle of chasing, performing, and proving is exhausting. It leaves us carrying the heavy ache of betrayal. Not only betrayal by others, but also the quiet self-betrayal that comes when we silence our voice, abandon our needs, or accept less than we deserve in order to feel secure.

Women in our community know this pattern well. Staying in draining relationships because the fear of being alone feels unbearable. Tying our value to whether we are picked by a partner or friend group. Shrinking at work to avoid being seen as “too much,” while still feeling unseen.

In this session, we will explore what changes when you do the choosing—at home, in relationships, and at work. Together, we will reflect on the ways we have overextended to be chosen and release the weight of proving, so we can step into spaces where we are already enough.
