Hi! My name is Armine.

I am starting this group for a very simple, direct reason: even after living in Portugal for 20 years, I still crave deeper, more meaningful human interactions that go past the surface.

I moved here when I was just 6 years old, and looking back, my integration was quite rough and bumpy. I know firsthand how lonely it can be to navigate a new culture, and I truly believe that having deep connections early on isn’t just nice - it is absolutely necessary to survive the transition.

If I can use my journey to help other women find their footing while building the genuine friendships we all need, I would love to do so.

Over the years, I've worked in many local and international companies, and I managed to finish my university degree while working and raising my daughter - who is now 5yo. So if you are balancing family, work, and a move, I completely understand the chaos.

Because of my background, I want to make sure everyone feels welcome without language barriers, so we can chat in Portuguese, English, Russian and Ukrainian.

This is simply a cozy and safe space to slow down, leave our screens behind, and talk. If you are looking for your tribe and a place to truly connect over a cup of tea/coffee you belong here.
