About the play: "Agnes Of God" by John Pielmeier is a taut, compelling 3-character drama about a court-appointed psychiatrist who must assess the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn.
The movie version was released in 1985 and starred, Jane Fonda and Anne Bancroft.
