About us
The Squeezebox Circle is a space for accordion players of all levels to get together, share what we are working on, and learn from one another in a low-pressure environment. Whether you are still getting comfortable with your bellows control or have been playing for years, the goal here is simply to keep the music moving forward. We meet regularly to trade tips, troubleshoot tricky passages, and explore different styles of music that the accordion brings to life.
This is a study group rather than a formal class, so the focus is on peer-to-peer learning and mutual encouragement. We try to keep things informal, often spending part of the time playing individually or in small groups and the rest of the time talking through the challenges of the instrument. If you have a piece you are struggling with or just want to find others who understand the unique joys and frustrations of playing the squeezebox, we would love to have you join us.
