As a group we spend a lot of time talking about – interpreting, dare I say? – Kubrick's films, for example the last year and a half of Saturdays has been devoted to "Eyes Wide Shut". Now we are considering Susan Sontag's essay "Against Interpretation".
In this session we'll re-read Section 6 of Sontag's essay without discussing them, just for review, and then we'll read and discuss sections 7 through 10, pausing to discuss.

If we are able to complete our discussion early, we'll read some more about Sontag and about this particular essay.
