Cold read: Olympus Seen on a Clear Day: a two-act play by Robert Castle

Details
In this session, we will cold-read a play by our long time member and noted Kubrick author, Robert Castle. All welcome. We will focus on reading the play with limited discussion.
Olympus Seen on a Clear Day is loosely based on one of the longest movie shoots ever: Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut. The married couple superstars, Matt and Elizabeth (based on Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, with echoes of the Elizabeth Taylor-Richard Burton co-starring in several movies), feel increasing strain in their marriage as the movie shoot lasts nearly eighteen months.
Additionally, they experience tension from the roles they play in the unnamed film, as well as increasing media and public pressure on their private lives, rife with accusations of infidelities, homosexuality, and rumored soon-to-be divorce.
The situation worsens when the director dies before the end of shooting and production, To complete the film, the Studio convinces Matt to take over the director role, but he takes nearly as long as the deceased director when he decides to re-shoot and new scenes. At over three hours length, will the film ever be released. Will it end the careers of the two stars and the many executives at the Studio tied to the possible $100 million dollar loss?
All current and prospective Kubrickians welcome.
