UFOs Beyond ETs: Brent Raynes on John Keel and the Edge of Reality

This week, we are honoured to welcome longtime UFO researcher, author, investigator, and editor Brent Raynes to The Starseeds and Lightworkers Collective for a fascinating conversation on nearly six decades of UFO research, high strangeness, and the deeper mysteries that continue to challenge our understanding of reality.
Brent entered the UFO field in January 1967, at only fourteen years old, after being inspired by the major UFO wave of 1966 and Frank Edwards’ influential book Flying Saucers — Serious Business. What began as a teenage fascination soon became a lifelong quest. Brent immersed himself in UFO literature, corresponded with witnesses and researchers across the country, founded his own UFO investigation group, and began publishing his own newsletter. By 1969, he was connected with Florida’s Saucer Scoop magazine and soon entered into correspondence with one of the most influential and unconventional voices in ufology: John A. Keel, author of Operation Trojan Horse, The Eighth Tower, and The Mothman Prophecies.
In this episode, Brent will reflect on his decades of research into UFOs, anomalous phenomena, consciousness, synchronicity, and the strange borderlands where physical sightings, psychic impressions, folklore, symbolism, and personal experience seem to overlap. Drawing from his own field investigations, his correspondence with John Keel, and his book John A.
