Who Are We When No One Knows Us?
Details
For our second Table, we’ll continue our conversation by exploring a new question:
Who are we when no one knows us?
When we step outside our familiar roles — whether through travel, distance, or chosen solitude — does something essential emerge? Or does the self become more uncertain?
We’ll read a short essay in advance and spend the evening in open conversation. No academic background is required — curiosity and attentiveness are enough. Disagreement is welcome; respect is essential.
This is not a lecture or a networking event. It’s a small, thoughtful conversation held around a table.
Two short readings (10–15 minutes) will be shared one week before we meet.
