Tarot for Samhain

Samhain is a festival in the pagan Wheel of the Year that marks the beginning of the darker months of the year. Most of us these days honour this festival as Halloween. We will be gathering on the evening of October 27th to celebrate this day through some of my favourite Halloween-themed tarot spreads, practices, rituals, and other treats.

You will leave this session with a whole new assortment of spreads and card reading approaches to add to your tarot toolbox. You will also have a better understanding of how to align your tarot practice with the seasons & cycles of the year.

Beginners are more than welcome, but it's important to know that this event is experiential and not taught. However, if any beginners do come, I will share a brief explanation of how to engage with your tarot cards in the workshop even if you've never formally studied before.

Please come prepared with a deck (or two!), something to write with (i.e. journal and pen), and an open and curious mind. Please also bring a small, unused candle (white, black, or orange) and something to scry with (a crystal, mirror, dish of water, or even a stick of incense would do).
