TLF Re-launch

Details

After a 4 year break, the TLF is back under the new management of Wedo.Tech.

As part of our re-launch, we've been busy surveying respected community members and what was apparent from these results is everyone is talking about AI and its impact on software delivery and quality engineering.

The riveting story of AI has seen multiple springs of hope and winters of disappointment spanning at least the last six decades. Following near-exponential growth in compute, data, and, most importantly, research fuelled by investment on an unprecedented scale in the last decade, AI is finally on the cusp of true mass adoption and deployment at scale. Extensive automation through AI is bound to transform all industries and fields in some form, including those of some of its very makers - software engineering, QA, data science, ML, and related technical domains are not immune to it.

The TLF is hosting a talk which discusses high-level observations, opportunities, implications, and desiderata around AI from the perspective of software quality engineering, SDLC, and governance, with a primary focus on the currently dominant form of AI reliant on state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs).
