Education System Reform: What's Changed, What Hasn't, and What Should

A wide-open look at how education has actually changed — and how much of it was ever real reform at all.
Every few years, a new education policy, curriculum tweak, or "future of learning" headline promises to fix the system. But has anything actually changed for the people living through it — students, teachers, parents? And if reforms have happened, were they effective, or did they just move the paperwork around while the real problems stayed untouched?
Thinkers Forum is a community for respectful, open dialogues on complex social, cultural, ethical, and philosophical issues.

• Why do so many reforms seem to solve the wrong problem, chasing structure while curiosity and critical thinking take a back seat?
