Hang out at SummerFest Gaithersburg

Join us for a hangout at SummerFest at Bohrer Park on June 28th.

LOGISTICS

TRAFFIC: This is a free, city event. There will be traffic. Please plan accordingly.

PARKING: While there is some parking on site, it will fill up quickly. There are other parking lots in Olde Town Gaithersburg within walking distance (plus a parking garage). A parking map is here:

Since it will take some time to walk from parking to the event, please plan accordingly.

We will congregate at the front of the Activity Center at 7 pm. After socializing for a bit, we will split into groups and explore the festival on our own, before regrouping again at 8:30.

WHAT ABOUT THE FIREWORKS? The fireworks begin at 9:20, after our meetup ends. If you wish to stay for the fireworks, be warned that traffic right afterwards will be bad so the event recommends staying for the “afterglow” party.
