Forces of nature

The topic for this meeting is "Forces of nature". As usual, the topic can be interpreted in many different ways. Examples include natural disasters, forces of nature in the Physics sense, or even novels featuring characters who are metaphorical forces of nature. And I'm sure you can come up with your own personal interpretation too!

Whatever your choice, you are cordially invited to briefly present one or more books of any kind (fiction, non-fiction, whatever) that you reckon relate to forces of nature.

Afterwards we will have a casual and friendly chat about the books, about the subject of forces of nature, and wherever else the conversation takes us!

You are of course welcome to bring the books you want to discuss, but it's also fine if you don't.
