National classics

This club has members from many different nationalities, so this time we are interested in books that are considered classics in different countries. The most obvious choices are books which are classics in your home country, but it's of course also fine if you bring classics from countries other than your own!

Whatever your choice, you are cordially invited to briefly present one or more books of any kind (fiction, non-fiction, whatever) that you would consider national classics.

Afterwards we will have a casual and friendly chat about the books, about the subject of classics, and wherever else the conversation takes us!

You are of course welcome to bring the books you want to discuss, but it's also fine if you don't.
