What we’re about
I have a small kayak and have enjoyed paddling along the Toronto waterfront. I would like to find like minded paddlers to join me. We could put our boats in at various locations and enjoy a leisurely journey past such places as Ontario Place, Palace Pier, The Boulevard Club, the Humber River, the Leslie Street Spit and Toronto Island. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get out on the water without leaving the city and see Toronto from a new perspective. Of course we are not limited to the Toronto waterfront and could meet west, east and north of the city. The purpose of this group was initially for leisure paddles however many avid kayakers have joined so now we have a mix of interests and abilities. Members wishing to go paddling should be properly equipped according to boat safety laws, have some experience paddling and join any events at their own risk. As organizer I welcome new members and answer questions from time to time. I do not screen members and do not oversee or take responsibility for any events that are posted.
