Here we take a pause between Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling and Repetition in order to spend some time with one of Kierkegaard's heroes: Gotthold Lessing.
In his Axioms, Lessing responds to criticisms that an earlier work of his put him at odds with Christianity. We may find some themes here that Kierkegaard also considers.
