### Rumi’s Circle – Weekly Session

  • Video: Watch a clip about Rumi, Shams, or his circle.
  • Reading: Take turns reading a selected poem or story.
Current focus: Rumi’s Masnavi, a 13th‑century spiritual text full of stories and teachings on divine love, self-awareness, and insight.
  • Reflection: Share personal interpretations — no debate, like viewing art.
  • Wrap-Up: Summarize reflections and assign the next reading. Optional sharing of personal poems is encouraged, focusing on listening and feeling without criticism. It deepens connection, encourages reflection, and models vulnerability.
Reading your own poems also strengthens creativity, expression, and understanding of metaphor.
