Lochranza to Cock of Arran

For those on the Arran weekend, an 8mle circular mile walk from Lochranza campsite.

We’ll now meet at the Church of St.Brides, Newton Road, KA27 8HQ which is just on the road between the Lochranza hostel and the campsite

The route heads over the hill to the remote Laggan cottage, then follows the coast back to Lochranza looking for interesting features along the way, including Ossains cave and Huttons unconformity. We have a self proclaimed expert on the walk to tell us all about this 😉

Dave will be leading this walk with the Hillbillies (25) who are also joining us, there were a couple of rocky sections that needed care but we can take our time on this one.

Note, Dave starts walks at 9.50am at Lochranza campsite front entrance.
