About us
We're a casual gathering of people who love sketching and want to connect with other artists in the area. Whether you're a seasoned illustrator, a hobbyist who sketches in coffee shops, or someone just getting started, there's a place for you here. We meet regularly to draw together, share work, get feedback, and basically hang out with people who get excited about putting pencil to paper.
The main idea is pretty simple: create a space where local artists can build genuine friendships and support each other's work. We do sketching sessions where everyone brings their own projects, we sometimes do prompt-based drawing exercises to push ourselves creatively, and we're always up for talking about techniques, materials, or just venting about creative blocks. No judgment, no competition, just people who want to improve and have fun doing it.
This is really about community first. We want folks to stick around not just for one meetup but to become part of an actual group of people they can text about art, grab coffee with between sessions, or collaborate on projects with.
