Adult Literacy: Martin Luther King

Are you learning to read as an adult? In this class, we will read simple text together. We’ll learn about the life of Martin Luther King Jr.—who he was, what he believed in, and why people still remember him today.

We’ll read short sentences out loud and help each other understand the meaning. You’ll learn new words, improve your reading skills, and have time to ask questions or share your ideas. The class will move at a gentle pace, with plenty of support along the way.

This is a safe and welcoming space for adults who are building their reading confidence. You’ll learn something meaningful while practicing how to read and speak with others. All reading levels are welcome.
