Step into stillness: Walking Meditation by the Isar
Details
### Overview
Escape the hustle of the city and find your "flow" by the river. We’re meeting for a unique session that combines the stillness of meditation with the gentle rhythm of walking. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a total beginner, this is a space to decompress and connect with like-minded people. Walking meditation isn't about "getting somewhere" fast—it's about noticing the sensation of the feet hitting the ground. It’s a great way to "reset" the nervous system before the social dinner.
### The Plan
- Meet & Greet: We’ll gather near the Gasteig HP8 for a quick intro.
- The Basics: I’ll provide a brief overview of what meditation is and how we can bring that awareness into our movement (Walking Meditation).
- The Walk: We will walk mindfully along the Isar river, practicing presence and observing the nature around us.
- The Finish Line: We’ll conclude our walk at a local spot for a social bite/drinks to share our experiences and get to know one another.
### What to Bring
- Comfortable walking shoes.
- Weather-appropriate clothing.
- An open mind and a bit of curiosity.
- Snacks and something to drink (maybe a water bottle) while walking
