The Underground Aquascape Design Collective is a space for hobbyists who want to move beyond the standard aquarium setup and dive into the art of underwater landscape design. Whether you are working on a high-tech nature aquarium with CO2 injection or a low-maintenance, deep-substrate jungle tank, this group is about sharing techniques, troubleshooting layout challenges, and geeking out over hardscape materials like driftwood and dragon stone. We are here to exchange knowledge on plant health, lighting spectrums, and the careful balance of a closed ecosystem.
Our gatherings are informal and centered on practical experience. We meet to swap clippings, discuss the latest growth cycles in our tanks, and occasionally visit local shops or visit each other’s home setups to see different methods in person. If you find yourself spending more time obsessing over the placement of an Anubias leaf than the fish themselves, you will fit right in here. We welcome members of all skill levels, provided you have a genuine interest in the creative side of the craft and enjoy a good conversation about the patience it takes to let an aquascape mature.
