About us

The Unfinished Joke Society is a structured comedy writing workshop dedicated to sharpening craft through process a.k.a. guided exercises and practices. Currently the workshops will focus on strong premise development, rapid joke writing, and punch up. Members build material with intention and discipline. It’s a space for comedians to develop their voice, strengthen their structure, and turn rough ideas into stronger, stage-ready work... one workshop at a time.

Guidelines

Arrive on time to events as they are structured unless otherwise stated. People who arrive late to a structured event will not be allowed in.
Sign up early, currently the workshops are free but you need to sign up for the event to attend. We ask you to make the commitment for yourself as a comedian and allow our organizers to plan ahead of time. They are giving up their time to put this on for you.
